Art Stalking

This was the Emmett Walsh show at Spectacle Gallery and it was a good one to end on before they have to leave.



There was a seafaring feel, with the seascape projected across the space, cutting it in two, and effectively making you feel lost in an unfamiliar environment as soon as you entered.



There were engravings and prints up on a wooden 'stage', getting on it to see better was a little like being a navigator on a ship, but one from a dream, where the maps were made from insects, words and people.
